Welcome ! I am a R&D Data Scientist at ID Solutions Oncology working on digital PCR applications. I have been a postdoctoral researcher in Health Data Science supervised by Dr. Sébastien Benzekry. During my PhD, I worked on continuous constrained optimization, evolution strategies and applications to Radar digital signal processing, supervised by Dr. Nikolaus Hansen.
My current research interests are:
- Multivariate statistics and machine learning
- Optimization of neural networks
- Learning from genomic data
- Incorporating Expert Knowledge in learning systems
- Application to clinical (in particular, cancer) datasets
My prior research interests were:
- Survival analysis
- Generative models for tabular data
- Derivative free algorithms for constrained optimization
During my PhD and postdoc, I had the occasion to supervise awesome Msc. students for their final internship. We came up with the following topics :
- Tabea Gnade (2023, now Data Scientist) Improving generalization in survival deep models with subsampling strategies.
- Anastasiia Bakhmach (2023, now PhD student in the COMPO team) A methodology for benchmarking methodology feature selection methods on correlated, collinear datasets.
- Louis Tamames (2021, now ML research engineer) Optimization of antennas array for robust measurement of the direction of arrival.
